Wrack relocation welded back together and ready for some paint, we recently picked up a sand blaster making it super easy to strip the subframe down. Also cleaned up the final design of the front LCA’s.

A few layers of undercoat and there ready for the custom red weve had mixed up.

Final assembly for the steering wrack & PSM solid bushes, very happy with how this turned out

This red paint has been in the cupboard for a few years now actually, it was used back in 2012 when the s13 got an s15 rear subframe conversion. gktech solid conversion mounts and custom gussets through out. Guess the front x-member has been a long time coming

Preperation for the motor to be assembled started a few months ago,  the S13 black top head has been acid bathed and surfaced and all the valves came up clear on the compression test.  The other head is also an s13 black top, but theres a few other plans destined for this one, more on that later.

One thing that really seems to affect SRs is ballance. After snapping a full set of ARP fly wheel bolts off in the last krank, the studs werent able to be removed. I sourced a new black top Type X krank shaft, and had that lightened & ballanced with the flywheel / clutch & then micro polished. Full set of ACL Race bearings accompanying the krank into the bottom end

Also recently picked up this genuine Greddy manifold. During a previous tune i had major issues with my chinese one. Although we managed to sort it out and it did work fine in the end, when this Greddy one came up for a bargain it was too good to pass up and worth every cent! The rest of the intake side consists of an custom Aeroflow S15 top feed rail with Bosch Evo 1000cc injectors
